2026 Initiatives

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving efficiency, streamlining workflows, and providing our team members with the tools needed to deliver excellent care, we are pleased to share two major IT initiatives planned for 2026.

1. New Time & Attendance System – Ahola

In 2026, we will implement a new time and attendance system through Ahola, our current payroll vendor. This transition will bring several benefits by consolidating multiple functions into a single, easy-to-use platform. Once launched, team members will be able to access:

  • Time clock and scheduling
  • PTO balances and requests
  • Pay information and pay stubs

This “one-stop” resource will simplify processes for both staff and supervisors and will create greater consistency across departments.

2. Transition to a New EHR – PointClickCare

We will also be transitioning from Yardi to PointClickCare (PCC) for our electronic health record system. This change is being made due to Yardi’s increasingly limited support for the clinical portion of their product.

Important notes regarding this transition:

  • Only nursing documentation will move to PointClickCare and healthcare and assisted living billing.
  • Yardi will continue to be used for business office functions, IL billing, accounts payable, general ledger, budgeting, and Maintenance IQ.
  • Training and onboarding for clinical staff will be provided ahead of implementation to ensure a smooth transition.

These initiatives reflect our commitment to continuous improvement and our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality service. More details, including timelines and training information, will be shared as we move forward.
